Title:  Project Lead-BI

We are seeking an experienced IBM Cognos Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our Cognos reporting and analytics environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cognos administration, configuration, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and high availability of our BI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Administration and Support: Administer and support the IBM Cognos BI environment, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
•    User Management: Manage user security and report access permissions.
•    Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with business units to understand reporting requirements and provide technical support.
•    Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and configurations.
•    Upgrades and Patches: Perform software upgrades and patches as needed.
•    Best Practices: Promote and implement BI best practices and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
•    Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Experience: 7+ years of experience in Cognos Administration.
•    Technical Skills:
o    Proficiency in IBM Cognos (versions 11 and above).
o    Strong understanding of BI and data warehousing concepts.
o    Experience with SQL and database management.
o    Knowledge of Cognos configuration and security.
o    Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
•    Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities.
