Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that automate the flow of data from On-prem SQL DB into Azure Synapse, enabling robust reporting and analytics within Power BI. This role is crucial in building and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, and improving the efficiency of our data processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills (3-5 years of relevant experience required):

  • Migration: Work on migrating existing ETL processes and objects into Azure Synapse, requiring complex optimized stored procedures and functions.

  • Develop & Maintain Data Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain automated data pipelines from On-prem SQL DB to Azure Synapse using Azure Data Factory.

  • Performance Optimization: Optimize data pipeline performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, improving query efficiency, and implementing best practices for data storage and retrieval in Azure Synapse.

  • PL/SQL & Database Architecture: Expertise in PL/SQL, database architecture, and performance tuning of existing procedures and processes.

  • Automation & Python: Help automate day-to-day processes using Python programming, with knowledge of Pandas and NumPy libraries.
