Must Have:

1. 2.5 -3 years’ experience on below AWS Services

AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail , AWS Network Firewall , WAF, AWS Network & Security level troubleshooting.

2. Total 4/5 years’ experience on any Firewall (Cisco ASA , Cisco Firepower , FortiGate , Palo Alto , Juniper )

Good to Have

1. Experience on Cisco Firepower, FMC, Cisco ASA.
2. Experience on Qradar tool & Algosec.

Primary Responsibilities:

AWS services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud watch, AWS network firewall & AWS WAF)

• Security Fundamentals: Should be able to understand / Explain concepts (NAT, ACL, Access Groups, IPsec, AAA) & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot network Protocols.
• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for the Cisco Firepower, AWS Network firewall.
• Strong hands-on L2 level experience on Network Hardware like Cisco Firepower/Firepower manager, Cisco ASA.
• Serve as a technical lead for all Cisco Firepower deployments (such as the cabling and initial configuration of the devices)
• AWS-specific skills MUST: (Networking: vpc, virtual gateway, Direct Connect Gateway, transit vpc, transit gateway, , load balancers) and (Security: ACM, WAF, Config, CloudWatch, Flow-logs, IAM, ES etc.)
• Security Architecture: Build Cloud Network Architecture to support Encryption of Data at rest and transit.
•  Good to Have experience on Algosec , Qradar & GitHub Tools.
• Promote continued integration of technological advances to further enhance security and reduce risks.
•  Responsible for Managing Team, interact with client to provide weekly, Monthly updates.
• Mentor and coach cyber security analysts, providing guidance and expertise in incident/issue response and resolution methodology.
• Evaluates and recommends new products, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies from application to enterprise.
• Promote the development of innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems and issues.

Required Qualifications:

• CCNP R&S, CCNP Security Certification
• 4 and 6 years of Strong Enterprise networking with Routing/Switching configuration/diagnostic experience in Global Network infrastructure design delivery of WAN, LAN, Firewall,
• 3+ years of experience installing, monitoring, and maintaining Next Gen firewall (Cisco Firepower Manager) solutions including policy design and implementation.
• 3+ Years of experience on AWS (VPC, Transit gateway , Network Firewall , Firewall Manager , AWS WAF & Cloud watch )
• 3+ years of experience evaluating and designing firewall solutions for technology projects
• Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
• Experience on cloud security,
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization.
• Ability to identify and mitigate security issues/incidents.
• Ability to document and communicate on an expert level.
