Title:  Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a proven track record in Data Analytics, possessing a minimum of 13 to 15 years of experience in leading and delivering complex projects. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, and a strong background in managing cross-functional teams in data analytics projects. As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of data analytics initiatives while leading a team of 15+ skilled resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of data analytics projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
2. Utilize your extensive experience in data analytics to guide the team in defining project requirements, objectives, and success criteria.
3. Apply Agile methodologies to create and maintain detailed project plans, sprint schedules, and resource allocation, facilitating efficient project delivery.
4. Manage a team of 15+ technical resources, fostering collaboration, communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and business leaders, to align project goals with business objectives.
6. Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks, issues, and bottlenecks. Implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
7. Use your excellent communication skills to provide regular project updates to executive leadership, stakeholders, and project teams.
8. Apply Agile principles to facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings, promoting transparency and efficiency.
9. Drive the implementation of best practices for data analytics, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
10. Act as a point of escalation for project-related challenges, working with the team to resolve issues promptly and maintain project momentum.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
12. Provide input to project estimation, resource planning, and risk management activities.

Mandatory Experience

13. Technical Project Manager experience of minimum 5+ years for driving project management activities in the Data lake and Data warehousing (DW)
14. Strong understanding of DW process execution from acquiring data from source system to visualization
15. Exposure to Azure skills –  Azure ADF, Azure Databricks, Synapse, SQL, PowerBI for minimum 3+ years or Must have experience in managing at least 2 end to end on Azure Cloud projects

Other Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 13 to 15 years of progressive experience in technical project management, with a focus on data analytics and data-driven initiatives.
3. In-depth knowledge of data analytics concepts, tools, and technologies, including data warehousing, data modeling, data visualization, and machine learning.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide technical professionals.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
6. Demonstrated success in delivering data analytics projects on time, within scope, and meeting or exceeding quality expectations.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude towards identifying challenges and finding creative solutions.
8. Project management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM would be added advantage
9. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
