Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Assistant Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in driving sales and profitability, managing and motivating staff, maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day tasks. You will also be involved in strategic planning and implementing sales strategies to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.
- Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments).
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
- Monitor and maintain store inventory.
Required Skills
- Pre-Sales: The candidate must have a strong understanding of the pre-sales process, including identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and tailoring products or services to meet those needs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information to clients and team members.
- Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate a team is crucial in this role, as the assistant sales manager will often be responsible for overseeing sales staff.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
