Job Overview

As a PLM Windchill Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing PLM solutions using PTC's Windchill PLM software. Your role will involve understanding business requirements, creating design documents, configuring and customizing Windchill, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. You will also be expected to provide strategic guidance to clients, ensuring that the PLM solutions align with their business objectives and processes.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be responsible for consulting with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate PLM solutions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for configuring and implementing PLM software, specifically PTC Windchill.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with the PLM software.

Required Skills

  • Consulting: The candidate must have strong consulting skills to understand the client's needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Software Configuration: The candidate must have experience in software configuration, specifically in PLM systems.
  • PLM - PTC Windchill: The candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience in PTC Windchill, a leading PLM software.
  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • PLM - Oracle Agile: Experience with Oracle Agile PLM software is a plus.
  • Java: Knowledge of Java programming language is beneficial.
  • PLM - Siemens Teamcenter: Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM software is advantageous.
  • CAD - SolidWorx: Knowledge of SolidWorx CAD software is a plus.
  • ALM - IBM CLM: Experience with IBM CLM ALM software is beneficial.
  • ALM - PTC Codebeamer: Knowledge of PTC Codebeamer ALM software is advantageous.
  • ALM - PTC Windchill RV&S: Experience with PTC Windchill RV&S ALM software is a plus.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects is beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex problems is a plus.
