 As Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Windchill Integration, individuals are expected to possess deep technical knowledge and experience in integrating Windchill PLM software with other systems and applications. Here are the roles and responsibilities of Windchill Integration SMEs in Gather and analyze integration requirements from stakeholders, including business users and technical teams.

• Design robust and scalable integration solutions that meet business needs while adhering to best practices and standards.
• Develop and implement integration solutions using a variety of technologies, such as REST APIs, web services, middleware, and data transformation tools.
• Document integration designs, configurations, technical specifications, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and support.

• Work with Solution Architect(s) in the software selection for the integration architecture components.
• Work with the Application Lead(s) to define a high-level design of an end-to-end integration solution of Windchill Applications:
• Identifying the flow of data between the applications that must be integrated.
• Mapping business process activities to the applications that support them.
• Drafting a data object model that provides a common structure for mapping the data between the applications.
• Analyze the use cases and system data flow diagrams to identify any additional integration requirements.
• Create an inventory of all cross-application interactions or interfaces.
• Work closely with the Business Analysts to confirm the integration requirements identified.
• Identify cross-team issues and communicate them to the appropriate team leads.
• Validate that the application requirements meet overall business process needs, are within the project scope, and are internally consistent.
• Validate that the integration solution and integration architecture designs utilize the integration architecture components appropriately.
• Solid experience in defining the applications landscape including integrations to implement overall functional/business capabilities.
• Expertise to define a high-level design of an end-to-end integration solution including dataflow between the interfacing applications.
• Ability to use the business process design to drive out the full set of application requirements: functional, quality, integration, and security.
• Assess the impact of the integration requirements to the architecture and specify the integration service requirements.

• Validate that configuration and development effort is meeting Medtronic practices and standards
