Responsibilities
Responsible and accountable for accurate and timely preparation of consolidated/standalone books of accounts & financial reports.
Ensure review and timely issuance of Consolidated and Standalone Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity and Notes to accounts as per Indian accounting standards and Schedule III as a part of the period-end close process to the requisite stakeholders.
Compliance of SEBI LODR guidelines.
Data for RPT compliance.
Ensuring accounting for critical aspects ESOP, Business combinations, Trade deposits, etc.
Ensure extremely high standards of accuracy are maintained in representation of financial data and ensure timely and error-free statutory financial reporting.
Review and approve the Related Party Transactions Schedule/reconciliation at period-end to ensure accurate consolidation of financials.
Review the consolidated reports and reason analysis for the key variances before any further circulation.
Assist internal and external auditors with smooth query resolution for issues related to consolidation by giving complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests.
Provide recommendations to improve current Consolidation process by reducing overall Turn-Around-Time (TAT) of the process to improve reporting speed and efficiency.
Ensure a ‘customer centric’ and ‘partnership approach’ to develop strong relationships with other working groups.
Ensure error-resolution is performed to high standards, within reasonable timeframes, and with the end-user satisfaction in mind.
Ensure effective participation in the team and facilitate building of a strong team culture.
Effective maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and coordination in physical verification of assets.
Working of lease accounting as per IND AS 116, control and review of Lease asset schedule.
Experience:
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in Financial reporting process preferably in same/ similar industry.
Knowledge and experience of SAP S4 HANA – ERP system.
Sound understanding of various Financial Accounting Standards (local and global) and Accounting Principles.
Expert in tools and systems for Financial Consolidation.
SAP knowledge is strongly recommended.
