Required competency

  • Consultative skills to understand customer needs, business processes & customer’s current architecture landscape
  • Should be able to translate requirements into specifications (functional / nonfunctional).
  • Must have worked on Ignition platform as a Lead or Solution architect with minimum 5 implementations on Green or Brown field MES/ SCADA project implementations.
  • Hands on experience in implementation of IT-OT integration projects
  • Working experience on Ignition Perspective module & Sepasoft MES modules.
  • Must have working experience on different communication protocols like MQTT, OPC UA & Modbus.
  • Must have working experience on ERP/ SAP/ Cloud integrations.
  • Must understand different MES modules like Production, Quality, Maintenance, Inventory, SAP integration etc.
  • Should have good understanding of integration of various IT & OT data sources, methods & approaches.

Job Description

As Ignition Solution Architect, you will be leading the discussions & ensure coordination with multiple stakeholders for our digitalization projects. You will need to:

  • Understand overall digitization roadmap & focus on current engagements
  • Facilitate the smooth Knowledge Transitions amongst different teams
  • Understand the project requirements and build on deriving specifications, scope of work and technical deliverables to the customer & for offshore team
  • Manage the evolving customer requirements during the execution period and thoroughly document changes which will drive change / requirements management
  • Support project management activities, resource monitoring, technical risk identification & mitigations, participate in project reviews with management.
  • Work closely with offshore development & management team to drive high-quality output
  • Regular reviews of development, integration of the codes & deliverables, ensuring the technical deliverables are meeting the customer and contractual requirements
