Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Manual Test Lead with 12+ years of hands-on QA expertise and a deep specialization in Integration Testing across complex, distributed systems. You will own test strategy, lead test planning/execution for cross-system integrations, drive defect triage with engineering and product teams, mentor test analysts, and ensure release quality through rigorous end-to-end validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define test strategy and coverage for system, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing across APIs, microservices, middleware, data pipelines, and third-party systems.
- Execute integration tests across multiple systems and validate data flows.
- Manage defect triage, reporting, and release readiness.
- Mentor QA team members and enforce best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams in Agile environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years in software testing, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Strong experience in Integration Testing (API, middleware, data pipelines).
- Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI), SQL, and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to message queues, ESB/iPaaS, and data synchronization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and basic scripting.
- ISTQB or similar certifications.
