Job Title: Power BI Report Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Power BI Report Developer to design, build, and maintain business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into clear, interactive reports and dashboards, develop robust semantic models, and produce paginated reports for print-ready and pixel-perfect reporting. This role partners with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that convey insights clearly.
• Create and maintain semantic models (data models) in Power BI Desktop, including relationships, calculated columns/measures, and time intelligence.
• Develop paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder for operational and print-ready reporting needs.
• Optimize report and model performance (query folding, incremental refresh, aggregations, DAX optimizations).
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and other access controls to protect sensitive data.
• Work with data engineering teams to source and shape data (Power Query, M) and validate data quality.
• Publish, configure, and manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, and scheduled refreshes in the Power BI Service.
• Document report design, data lineage, and maintenance procedures; provide user training and support.
• Monitor usage and iterate on reports based on feedback and evolving business needs.
