Job Description – Integration & Lineage Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement system‑level and business lineage in Alation for in‑scope systems and domains.
- Configure and validate lineage ingestion from upstream and downstream systems into Alation.
- Ensure accurate representation of data flows, transformations, dependencies, and impact paths using Alation lineage and impact analysis views.
- Standardize interface naming, lineage hops, and dependency modeling practices.
- Support lineage validation during UAT, audit readiness, and governance reviews.
- Enable impact analysis for change management, governance workflows, and exception handling.
- Maintain lineage consistency and quality as governance scope expands across domains and phases.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10+ years of experience in data integration, data architecture, metadata management, or data engineering roles.
- Strong hands‑on experience with lineage modeling and impact analysis in Alation.
