Area(s) of responsibility

OCI Cloud Engineer:

•    Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resources, including compute, storage, and networking.
•    Ensure scalability and performance of OCI environments.
•    Implement and manage virtual cloud networks, security lists, and load balancers.
•    Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (Terraform) to streamline cloud operations and management.
•    Utilize scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks.
•    Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
•    Integrate OCI DevOps tools and practices to automate deployments and improve efficiency.
•    Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance using OCI monitoring tools.
•    Set up logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively address issues.
•    Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and policies.
•    Manage identity and access management (IAM) policies and roles.
•    Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to support infrastructure and application needs.
