Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) professional to join our team. The PLM will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our product, from inception to end of life. This includes overseeing product development, production, and distribution, as well as analyzing market trends and customer feedback to inform future product developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as engineering, marketing, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and managing the PLM system across the organization.
- Coordinating with different departments to gather requirements and ensure the PLM system meets their needs.
- Providing training and support to users of the PLM system.
- Regularly reviewing and updating the PLM system to ensure it remains effective and up-to-date.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in PLM software: The candidate must have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with PLM software such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or Dassault Enovia.
- Project Management: The candidate should have excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
- Communication Skills: The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, as they will be required to interact with various stakeholders, including team members, management, and clients.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CAD software: Familiarity with CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA can be beneficial.
- Understanding of ERP systems: Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics can be an added advantage.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience in data migration and integration.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, C++, or Python.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience with change management processes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or Prince2).
