Job Overview
The Data Migration Lead/EDQ Architect will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of data migration activities. This includes designing and implementing data migration strategies, managing data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of migrated data. The successful candidate will also be responsible for architecting and implementing Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) solutions, establishing data quality standards, and working closely with various teams to improve data quality across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of data migration from source systems to the target application.
- Design and implement Oracle EDQ solutions to improve data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data migration requirements and goals.
- Monitor and report on data migration progress, ensuring that data management and migration projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ)
- Extensive knowledge of Data Management Platforms
- Strong background in Data Engineering
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JDE
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana Cloud (Public cloud) - In app Extendability
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with ETL tools
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of data privacy and security regulations
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
