Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Windchill Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Windchill PLM solutions, customizing Windchill workflows, and providing technical support to end-users. This role requires a deep understanding of Windchill development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to meet project goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize PTC Windchill PLM software according to the business requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to the Windchill PLM system.
- Create detailed technical documents, user manuals, and reports related to the Windchill PLM system.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the Windchill PLM system.
Required Skills
- Problem Management: The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
- PLM -PTC Windchill: The candidate must have a deep understanding of PTC Windchill PLM software, including its configuration, customization, and implementation.
- Documentation: The candidate must have excellent documentation skills to create detailed reports, user manuals, and other technical documents related to the Windchill PLM system.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Preferred Skills
- Linux: Knowledge of Linux operating system can be beneficial for managing and troubleshooting the server environment.
- Hibernate: Experience with Hibernate, an object-relational mapping tool for the Java programming language, can be an added advantage.
- Spring MVC: Familiarity with Spring MVC, a Java framework used to build web applications, can be beneficial.
- Java/J2EE: Knowledge of Java/J2EE for developing enterprise applications.
- SQL: Understanding of SQL for managing and manipulating databases.
- XML: Familiarity with XML for data exchange in web services.
- Agile Methodology: Experience with Agile software development methodology.
- Project Management: Skills in managing projects and coordinating with different teams.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team.
