Job Title: Senior Plant & Piping Design Engineer – Multi-Platform CAD/CAE Specialist (1 Number)
Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Plant & Piping Design Engineer with 7+ years of experience in piping and tubing design, multi-platform CAD/CAE tool administration, and integrated plant engineering workflows. This role demands deep technical expertise across leading plant design and instrumentation applications, combined with strong infrastructure, license management, and integration skills to ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain P&ID diagrams using Intergraph SmartPlant P&ID in compliance with project and industry standards.
- Configure and manage instrumentation databases in Intergraph Smart Instrumentation for accurate loop diagrams, datasheets, and calibration records.
- Execute spec-driven piping and tubing design using CAD Active and Autodesk Plant 3D, ensuring adherence to engineering codes and material specifications.
- Utilize Siemens Modular Plant Design for modularized plant layouts, optimizing constructability and maintainability.
- Perform valve sizing, flow calculations, and process data validation using CONVAL.
- Administer CAD/CAE tools, manage licenses, and ensure infrastructure readiness for multi-user, multi-project environments.
- Integrate design data across platforms, ensuring interoperability and data integrity.
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality engineering outputs.
