Job Overview
The CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Admin is a crucial role in our organization, responsible for managing and maintaining our CAD software systems to ensure seamless operations. The individual will be tasked with troubleshooting technical issues, implementing CAD standards, training users, and managing CAD documentations. The CAD Admin will also be responsible for the integration of CAD with other software and systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of CAD systems.
Responsibilities
•    Manage and maintain the company's CAD system, ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning optimally.
•    Develop and implement CAD standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in design.
•    Provide technical support to CAD users, troubleshooting any issues they may encounter.
•    Collaborate with the IT department to integrate CAD systems with other software and applications.
Required Skills
•    Proficiency in CAD - AutoLISP: The candidate must have a strong understanding and working knowledge of AutoLISP, a dialect of the LISP programming language built specifically for use with the full version of AutoCAD.
•    Expertise in CAD - SolidWorx: The candidate must have extensive experience in using SolidWorx for creating 3D models and designs.
•    Familiarity with REST API's: The candidate should have a good understanding of REST APIs, their architecture, and how to integrate them into CAD systems.
•    A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong focus on CAD technology is required.
Preferred Skills
•    Proficiency in CAD - Creo: Knowledge of Creo for 3D CAD design would be an added advantage.
•    Python: Familiarity with Python programming language would be beneficial.
•    Expertise in CAD - Catia: Experience in using Catia for 3D modeling would be a plus.
•    Proficiency in CAD - NX: Knowledge of NX for creating and editing detailed designs would be beneficial.
•    Knowledge of CAD - Inventor: Familiarity with Inventor for 3D mechanical design would be an added advantage.
•    Understanding of CAD - Revit: Experience in using Revit for building information modeling would be a plus.
•    Familiarity with CAD - Fusion 360: Knowledge of Fusion 360 for 3D design, engineering, and entertainment would be beneficial.
•    Knowledge of CAD - SketchUp: Experience in using SketchUp for 3D modeling would be an added advantage.
•    Understanding of CAD - Rhino: Familiarity with Rhino for 3D modeling would be a plus.
•    Proficiency in CAD - AutoCAD: Knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D and 3D design would be beneficial.
