SAP BTP Build Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An SAP BTP Build Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing low-code/no-code business applications, workflows, and process automations using SAP Build solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The consultant works closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.  

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Design and develop applications using SAP Build Apps.
  • Create and automate workflows using SAP Build Process Automation.
  • Develop business sites and workspaces using SAP Build Work Zone.
  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems through SAP BTP services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements.
  • Configure forms, approval processes, notifications, and automation bots.
  • Build responsive UI/UX solutions with low-code tools.
  • Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards are followed.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and deployment activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and user training materials.
  • Support post-go-live enhancements and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in workshops, solution demos, and client discussions.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP platform services.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SAP Build Apps
    • SAP Build Process Automation
    • SAP Build Work Zone
  • Understanding of SAP Fiori and UI5 concepts.
  • Experience with REST APIs, OData services and integrations.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation and RPA concepts.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud Connector and Identity Services is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and transport management in SAP BTP.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5 years of overall SAP BTP experience.
  • 15 years of Continuous education
  • SAP BTP or SAP Build certifications is preferred.
  • Experience in SAP digital transformation projects is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of BTP Admin activities (manage global and sub accounts, handle entitlements, manage quotas, role management etc.) is a plus.
