Senior Oracle CPQ Technical Consultant
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of Oracle CPQ solutions across implementation and enhancement projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex BML and BMQL solutions.
- Develop and customize Configuration and Commerce processes, including rules, actions, validations, pricing logic, workflows, and approvals.
- Design and develop Commerce Libraries, Utility Functions, and reusable components.
- Configure and customize the Oracle CPQ Document for proposal, quote, order, and other document generation requirements.
- Design and implement integrations between Oracle CPQ and CRM/ERP/third-party applications using REST/SOAP web services and middleware.
- Develop technical solutions for integrations with applications such as Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC), Fusion, EBS, and other enterprise systems.
- Perform technical analysis, debugging, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis of complex CPQ issues.
- Review code and technical solutions developed by other team members and ensure adherence to Oracle CPQ development best practices.
- Prepare and review Solution Design, HLD, LLD, integration specifications, mapping documents, and other technical documentation.
- Conduct technical reviews and internal solution demonstrations.
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, migration, and post-production activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior CPQ developers.
- Collaborate with functional teams to evaluate requirements and recommend technically feasible and scalable solutions.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Cloud.
- Strong expertise in BML and BMQL, including development of complex business logic.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS for CPQ UI customization.

- CPQ integrations
- Strong understanding of Oracle CPQ APIs and web services.
- Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, JSON and XSL/XSLT.
- Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with OSC, Fusion, EBS, Salesforce, JDE, OTM, or other enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Order / Opportunity-to-Order / Lead-to-Cash architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex CPQ applications, integration, data, and performance issues.
- Experience with CPQ migration, deployment, version control, and environment management.
- Hands-on experience preparing HLDs, LLDs and technical integration designs.
- Good understanding of Oracle CPQ implementation standards, coding practices, security, and performance considerations.
- Minimum 2–3 end-to-end Oracle CPQ implementations with significant hands-on technical development experience.
