Title: Technical Lead-WFM Admin
Area(s) of responsibility
Administration
- Support creation and ongoing maintenance of an Application Monitoring baseline (availability, functionality, performance, capacity) including alerting recommendations.
- Application Log administration / housekeeping.
- Maintain application configuration settings across all required environments.
- Support troubleshooting of application related issues that may impact the availability and performance of the overall service.
- Collaborate with other engineering and infrastructure teams (where required).
Deployments including Upgrades and fix-packs
- Provide task level input into the overall deployment or upgrade planning.
- Identify and download required application packages from software vendor.
- Highlight required dependencies - minimum OS, App Server, Java Versions.
- Highlight required modifications to DevOps/Release pipelines.
- Support rollback planning and testing (if applicable).
- Perform application deployment across all required environments covering where applicable:
WFM Application
Clock Servers
Cognos Analytics Reporting.
- Support post-deployment validation.
- Updates to SOP (standard operating procedures) and associated documentation (where applicable)
