Area(s) of responsibility

BI Resource - JD – MSBI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), SQL Server, Power BI, Good Communication is must.

High-Level JD
    MSBI (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS), Visual Studio SSDT, TFS
    MS SQL Server, Management Studio
    Power BI/Tableau with DAX
    Very good English proficiency is must
    Any one programming skill (like .NET/ JAVA/ PYTHON etc…) is good to have

Detailed JD for Seadrill BI Resource: 
1.    Microsoft Business Intelligence [MSBI], Team Foundation Server (TFS)
2.    SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (i.e., SQL Server (Integration, Reporting, Analysis) Services)
3.    Hands on Visual Studio SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools), Project and Package deployment.
4.    Writing complex SQL Query, Experience in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Job Scheduling and Monitoring.
5.    Power BI report development and administration and DAX Query
6.    Any one programming skill - Dot-Net/JAVA/Python etc… is good to have. 

Technical Skills:
•    Strong aptitude for modern BI solution development using Visual Studio SSDT.
•    Sound knowledge in Power BI report development and administration.
•    Proven skills in SSMS, TSQL, Job Scheduler and Monitoring.
•    Experience designing and implementing enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Microsoft BI technologies, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS using source files like Excel, Flat files and APIs.
•    Either Power BI or Tableau, good knowledge DAX is an added advantage. 
•    Data Modeling, Datamart and DWH architecture.
•    Sound experience in creating either SSAS tabular or multi-dimensional cube models.
•    Deep understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts as well as DWH design and lifecycle management principles.
•    Skilled with Integration services in transformations, parameterizing and environmental variables for smooth deployment. 
•    Expertise in writing complex store procedures, functions and debugging skills.

Managerial and Communication Skills
•    Very good listening, verbal and written English language skill is MUST, to interact with high profile clients across the globe.
•    Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving skills.
•    Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
•    Set priorities and meet deadlines for the deliverables.
•    Good understanding of ITIL processes specifically Incident Management, Problem Management, Service request and Change Management.

Admin/Migration Area knowledge – Good to have:
•    Experience in Azure eco-system.
•    Experience in SQL Server version upgrade from lower to latest. 
•    Strong interpersonal skills with quick adaptability to new environment. 
•    Experience with programming language preferably .Net C#/ Java/ Python.
•    MVC (Model, View, and Controller) experience.

Certifications – Good to have:
Any certifications in Programming/Azure/MSBI/Power BI would be additional advantage.
