ServiceNow - ITSM 

Summary / Role Purpose

The purpose of the ServiceNow ITSM Consultant is to be a member of the core ServiceNow team responsible for support, maintenance, ongoing improvements and implementation of new capabilities and features across the entire ServiceNow application. The role will possess a strong technical background and will be extremely analytical, proactive, and ambitious.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
•    Assist with delivering the backlog of Incidents and Service Requests for ServiceNow administration, development, and configuration.
•    Strong Understanding of ITSM solutions.
•    In-depth working knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, ATFs, Service Catalog (including and not limited to Workflows, Client Script, Script Include), Custom applications development, Configuration Management, Dashboards and Reports, LDAP, SSO, Inbound/Outbound emails, and Integration HUB.
•    Understanding of ServiceNow Upgrades.
•    Working knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
•    Follow standard design patterns and coding practices, keeping custom code organized, readable, maintainable, and documented.
•    Participate in development, unit testing, regression testing to support patching/upgrade releases.
•    Documentation – Design, FSD, TSD, Test Scripts.
 
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent.
•    2+ years of experience as ServiceNow ITSM developer and administrator.
•    1+ years of experience with JavaScript.
•    ServiceNow Administrator Certification. 
•    Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
•    Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
•    Strong logical problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to work as part of a diverse geographical team.
 
Preferred Qualifications and Skills 
•    ITIL V3 or 4 Certification 
•    CIS certification
•    CSA certification
