Title:  Technical Specialist-Enterprise Apps

We are seeking a skilled AS400 Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AS400 (IBM i) systems, RPG/CL programming, and modernization techniques to support and enhance our legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain applications on the AS400 (IBM i) platform.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Write, modify, and optimize RPG, CL, and other relevant code.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups.
Document technical specifications and procedures.
Support migration and modernization initiatives for legacy systems.
Ensure system security and compliance standards are met.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an AS400 (IBM i) Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in RPG, CL, SQL, and DDS.
Familiarity with IBM Navigator, Query/400, and other related tools.
Knowledge of modern development practices and tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
