JD for API Developer:
- Design, develop and deploy APIs using AWS Lambda and related AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API gateway and IAM roles.
- Proficiency in programming language such Python or Node JS - Prefer Python.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are required
- Collaborate with and third party developers and implement API contracts.
- Ensure best practices are followed in API design and development.
- Aware of monitoring, logging and debugging of APIs in AWS
- Optimise API performance, scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Work with DevOps team to automate deployment and CI/CD pipelines for APIs.
- Should be aware of API documentation standards.
- Stay updated with AWS services and industry best practices.
