Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Migrations Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data migration projects. This role involves understanding and translating business needs into data models, supporting the development team, and ensuring the seamless transfer of data from old systems to new ones. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures, as well as experience in data migration tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data migration strategies using Oracle HCM Cloud and HDL.
  • Use Fast Formulas for data manipulation and validation during the data migration process.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of data migration projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the data migration process.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud: The candidate must have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including its functionalities, capabilities, and limitations.
  • HDL: The candidate must have a solid understanding of HCM Data Loader (HDL) and should be able to use it effectively for data migration tasks.
  • Fast Formulas: The candidate should have a strong understanding of Fast Formulas and should be able to use them effectively for data manipulation and validation.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.

Preferred Skills

  • Core HR: Knowledge of Core HR processes and systems would be beneficial.
  • Absence Management: Understanding of absence management systems and processes would be an added advantage.
  • Payroll: Familiarity with payroll systems and processes would be beneficial.
  • AI Apps for HR: Experience with AI applications for HR would be a plus.
  • SQL: Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying would be beneficial.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing data migration projects.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team.
