Role Summary
Looking for an experienced SAP CPI Consultant with ~5 years of integration experience and proven capability to migrate interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI. The candidate will design, develop, and support end-to-end integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), ensuring secure, performant, and reliable interface delivery across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
Required Skills (Must Have)
• SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite) with strong hands-on iFlow development and deployment experience.
• Strong experience in SAP PI/PO and migration from PI/PO to CPI.
• Integration protocols and formats: SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC, JSON, XML, CSV.
• Strong knowledge of message transformations and mapping techniques (Graphical Mapping, XSLT, Groovy).
• Expertise in security setup (certificates, keystore, OAuth2, basic auth, PGP encryption/decryption).
• Strong troubleshooting skills using CPI monitoring, logs, traces, and error handling patterns.
• Familiarity with transport and deployment procedures and environment management (Dev/Test/Prod).
Key Responsibilities
SAP CPI Development & Delivery
• Design and develop integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI for SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Build integrations using adapters such as SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, AS2 (as applicable).
• Implement transformation and routing using Message Mapping, Groovy scripts, XSLT, content modifiers, routers, splitters, aggregators, exception subprocesses, etc.
• Configure and manage security artifacts like User Credentials, OAuth, Client Certificates, Keystore, PGP, and secure parameterization.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting using CPI monitoring tools (message monitoring, MPL, trace, logs).
PI/PO to CPI Migration (Core Focus)
• Perform PI/PO interface assessment and create a migration approach:
o Interface inventory, complexity evaluation, adapter mapping, effort estimation
• Migrate PI/PO artifacts to CPI:
o ESR objects (data types, message types, mappings) → CPI mappings
o ICO/receiver determination logic → CPI routing patterns
o Modules/UDFs → Groovy/XSLT equivalents
• Handle migration of IDoc/ALE, Proxy, SOAP, REST, File/SFTP interfaces to CPI.
• Ensure parity validation between PI/PO and CPI: payload comparison, functional results, performance benchmarks.
• Support cutover planning, dual-run strategy (if applicable), and decommission readiness for PI/PO.
