Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Required Skills
- Test Design: The candidate must have a strong understanding of test methodologies and the ability to design detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Test Execution: The candidate should have experience in executing the test cases and should be able to identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- MySQL: The candidate should have a good understanding of MySQL, including the ability to write and execute complex SQL queries.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
