Job Title: Sales Hunter – Cards & Payments Practice
Location: USA
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Hunter to drive new business growth for our Cards & Payments Practice within the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) vertical.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Cards and Payments domain and a proven track record in selling IT services, solutions, or transformation programs to financial institutions. This individual will work closely with practice leadership, solution SMEs, and delivery teams to build a strong pipeline, position differentiated offerings, and convert opportunities into strategic wins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and engage new clients in the Banking, Cards, and Payments space within North America.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with the Cards & Payments practice focus areas (ex: digital payments modernization, core platform transformation, card processing optimization).
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through proactive networking, research, and relationship-building.
- Work closely with domain SMEs to shape proposals and solution narratives tailored to client needs.
- Lead end-to-end sales pursuits, from qualification and solutioning to proposal submission and negotiation.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to position the practice’s offerings in relevant forums and events.
- Track market trends, competitor movements, and client investment areas to identify white-space opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10–15 years of experience in IT services sales or consultative solution selling, with a focus on Banking, Cards, and Payments domains.
- Proven record of achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets.
- Strong understanding of card issuing/acquiring systems, digital payments, and payment modernization initiatives.
- Experience selling services around platforms such as Fiserv, First Data, or other payment processors is a plus.
- Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with delivery, presales, and practice teams.
