The SAP Principal Consultant
The SAP Principal Consultant – PreSales will lead solutioning and advisory for SAP opportunities, working closely with sales teams, clients, and delivery units. This role requires deep expertise in SAP products, strong business acumen, and the ability to craft compelling value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Leadership:
Design end-to-end SAP solutions aligned with client business needs.
Lead discovery workshops, requirement analysis, and fit-gap assessments.
PreSales Activities:
Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed solution proposals and effort estimates.
Collaborate with sales teams to define win strategies and differentiators.
Thought Leadership:
Stay updated on SAP roadmap, S/4HANA, BTP, and industry trends.
Advise clients on digital transformation and innovation using SAP technologies.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with CXOs and senior client stakeholders to articulate business value.
Work with internal teams for pricing, risk assessment, and delivery planning.
Required Skills & Experience
SAP Expertise:
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Logistics), SAP BTP, and integration scenarios.
Exposure to SAP industry solutions and cloud offerings.
PreSales Skills:
Proven track record in solutioning and winning large SAP deals.
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Domain Knowledge:
Understanding of business processes across industries (Manufacturing, Retail, etc.).
