Position Title-Test Architect – Oracle Cloud HCM

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Test Architect with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM to lead quality assurance strategy, test architecture, automation, and end-to-end validation across Oracle HCM implementations and support engagements. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM modules, strong experience in test automation frameworks, and the ability to define enterprise-wide testing standards and governance.
The Test Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and project leadership to ensure high-quality Oracle Cloud HCM deployments through robust testing practices, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Architecture
•    Define and implement enterprise-level testing strategies for Oracle Cloud HCM programs.
•    Establish QA governance, testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
•    Design end-to-end test architecture covering functional, integration, regression, security, performance, and UAT testing.
•    Drive test planning, estimation, risk assessment, and quality metrics reporting.
•    Lead testing efforts across implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and production support projects.
Oracle Cloud HCM Testing
•    Develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data for Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
•    Validate end-to-end business processes across HCM applications and integrations.
•    Ensure quality assurance of quarterly Oracle Cloud releases and updates.
•    Review business requirements and solution designs to identify test coverage needs.
•    Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
Automation & Quality Engineering
•    Define and implement test automation frameworks for Oracle Cloud applications.
•    Drive automation using tools such as Selenium, Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, or similar platforms.
•    Establish CI/CD testing strategies and integrate automated testing into DevOps pipelines.
•    Improve test efficiency through automation and continuous testing practices.
Integration Testing
•    Validate integrations between Oracle Cloud HCM and: 
o    ERP/Financial Systems
o    Payroll Systems
o    Identity & Access Management Solutions
o    Third-party Applications
o    Middleware platforms such as OIC, SOA, MuleSoft, etc.
•    Ensure accurate end-to-end data flow and reconciliation.
Stakeholder Management
•    Work closely with business users, project managers, solution architects, and implementation partners.
•    Provide testing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to QA teams.
•    Present quality metrics, risks, and recommendations to program leadership.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
•    12+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA.
•    5+ years of experience as Test Architect/Test Lead for Oracle Cloud HCM programs.
•    Extensive experience testing Oracle Cloud HCM implementations and upgrades.
•    Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud quarterly release management processes.
•    Experience with API testing, integration testing, and data validation.
•    Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
•    Experience with defect management and test management tools such as:

• JIRA
• Azure DevOps
• HP ALM
• qTest
• Zephyr

Preferred Qualifications
•    Oracle Cloud HCM Certification.
•    ISTQB Advanced Test Manager/Test Architect Certification.
•    Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
•    Experience in large-scale global HCM transformation programs.
•    Exposure to AI-enabled testing and intelligent automation tools.
