Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead – Python to spearhead the development and deployment of solutions in the Life Science Regulatory domain, leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, cloud technologies, and AI/ML frameworks, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the life sciences industry.

Key Proficiency & Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable Python-based solutions.

GenAI Integration: Develop and integrate Generative AI models for data analysis, document processing, and automation in regulatory workflows.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that solutions adhere to industry regulations such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and GDPR.

Area(s) of responsibility

Software Development: Drive end-to-end development, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Python applications. Utilize core Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch for data processing, analytics, and AI/ML model development.

Code Quality & Review: Lead the development team by reviewing code for performance, security, and adherence to best practices. Provide constructive feedback, enforce coding standards, and ensure maintainability of the codebase.

Technical Specifications: Author high-level and low-level technical specifications, system design documents, and architectural blueprints to guide development and ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Cloud & DevOps: Implement cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Data Engineering: Work with structured and unstructured data, implementing ETL pipelines, APIs, and data models.

Essential job tasks

Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, regulatory experts, and business analysts. Mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development and best practices.

Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Expertise in Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) and NLP techniques for regulatory applications.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless computing.

Long Description

  • Hands-on experience with GenAI models (LLMs, Transformers, Fine-tuning, Prompt Engineering).
  • Familiarity with life sciences regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data pipelines.
  • Experience in building APIs, microservices, and RESTful architectures.
