ROLE SUMMARY:

Supports IT Asset Management operations by coordinating hardware and software purchasing requests, contract renewals, and asset lifecycle administration activities. Facilitates procurement workflows, maintains accurate asset and purchasing records, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective asset lifecycle management and reliable delivery of IT services.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate IT Asset Management purchasing activities and associated workflows.
  • Review purchasing requests submitted through ticketing systems for completeness, accuracy, and required approvals.
  • Communicate request status, updates, and requirements to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Process approved requests within procurement and contract management systems to facilitate purchase order creation and issuance.
  • Coordinate with IT Procurement regarding contract, vendor, and purchase order status updates.
  • Monitor upcoming contract expirations and notify the IT Asset Management team of renewal and budgeting requirements.
  • Support asset management initiatives, reporting activities, inventory reviews, and operational projects as assigned.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, process improvement efforts, and administrative activities that support team objectives.

 

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, Procurement, Inventory Management, or a related business or technical support function.
  • Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management processes, including procurement, inventory tracking, renewals, and disposition activities.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and workflow management tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports.
  • Experience working with software procurement, contract management (renewal), asset management, ITSM platforms is required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
